GRAF Small Waste Water Treatment Systems, 100% waterproof and made of plastic

Waste water treatment or sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants and suspended solids from both grey water and black water. Water used in toilets, dishwashers, sinks, baths and showers of private houses is called grey water. Meanwhile, black water is any water from toilets.

The treated grey and black water will go back into a water course such as a stream or river. Water that is not treated and properly discharged can cause pollution and illness to people. Treated water is not clean enough to drink but it’s safe enough so it will not harm the environment.

Waste water treatment systems are usually big and heavy but small wastewater treatment systems from GRAF don’t need heavy equipment so they can be easily transported and installed in locations that are difficult to access. GRAF waste water systems have smooth inner surfaces, 100% waterproof and can be easily cleaned since they are made of plastic.

There are 5 options for GRAF plastic wastewater treatment systems:

  • +C Carbon infeed. The addition of carbon helps the treatment process to continue and it also prevents the biology from dying off.

  • +D Removal of nitrogen. It makes sure that the total nitrogen value of the water does not exceed 25mg/l to attain a water quality that will satisfy even very strict requirements.

  • +P Phosphate removal package. Too much phosphate in water can cause a massive build-up of algae. This package ensures the safe removal of phosphate to achieve a great quality of water.

  • +H Hygiene package. It disinfects water to eliminate germs and microorganisms without the use of chemical substances.

  • +R Remote transmission. This offers a greater operating ability as well as greater efficiency and greater customer benefit since remote monitoring of the wastewater treatment system is possible.
