Heating, Mechanical, Electrical Design: Towards Energy Conservation

Cebu is one of the country's fastest growing provinces in the south.  It continues to prove itself in terms of economic growth, development and modernization.  With a relatively new branch in Mandaue City, Amici Mercantile Inc. chose to have their first out of town seminar in the country's Queen City of the South.

Amici Mercantile Inc. together with Hotel Engineers Association of the Philippines (HEAP) held their 3rd joint seminar in November 22, 2008 at the Platinum Hall of Crown Regency Hotel and Towers Cebu.  The seminar entitled "Heating, Mechanical, Electrical Design: Towards Energy Conservation" was attended by well over 70 participants from engineers to architects, owners to contractors.

Engr. John Edward Bautista, Director of Engineering and Environmental Management Representative of EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, flew in to discuss energy efficiency projects in relation to the different heating, mechanical and electrical designs.  He introduced to our guests the comprehensive projects of EDSA Shangri-la for promoting energy efficiency, discussing the many changes the prestigious hotel underwent.

Afterwards, Mr. Alexander Yao, Vice President of Amici Mercantile Inc. introduced the various energy saving products of Amici. He discussed the different solutions Amici designs for users with large hot water consumption, like hotels, residential buildings and resorts.  He also showed the different projects Amici has worked on over the years.

With the fluctuating economy, Amici makes sure to remain committed in its quest in contributing to greening the world through its continuous research and seminars.
