As early as 5 in the morning, employees of Amici Group of Companies- Amici Water Systems, Thermovar Pipes, Nouvac, Transflow Pumps and Wavetech were abuzz with excitement and energy as they assembled and prepared for the arrival of all players and guests. The teams, comprised of contractors, engineers, architects, consultants and designers from the country's top building and construction companies, began arriving soon after. By 9 in the morning, as everyone was settled in their seats, the festivities officially began with Mr. Dan Nebrida hosting the program.

One by one, the teams were introduced accompanied with drum rolls and cheers. This was followed by the torch running ceremony headed by Mr. Eric Ostan and Mr. Alexis Garcia. The energy continued to rise as the University of the East Pep Squad performed next. Their ingenious dance moves and wild routines kept people glued to their performance.

Next up was the Presentation of the Muses. The judges were introduced first starting with Barako Bull Players: Leo Najorda, Danny Siegle, Mick Pennisi, Sean Anthony and Ronald Tubid. Players of Meralco Bolts followed: Gilbert Bulawan, Reynel Hugnatan and Yousef Aljamal. The girls in the court all swooned and shrieked as they came out one by one. Even the guys were all giddy with excitement upon seeing their PBA idols on the court. As everyone settled, the pageantry began. Muses from different teams began strutting down the court holding on to their team flags and charming the judges. Aside from the usual greeting, muses shouted out their best pick up lines. The audience went wild with laughter and cheers, rooting for their favorites. After much deliberation and talk, the judges decided on King's Safety Net muse, Ms. Sheryl Punsalan. Aside from her good looks, her pick up line definitely got everyone's attention. It went like this: “Hotdog ka ba? Kasi Ketchup ako. Para sa akin mo isawsaw ang hotdog mo.” The crowd went wild without a doubt.

After much hype and excitement on the muse pageantry, in came the Mocha girls at the court. The girls sang and dance to the audience's delight, intensifying the entire Cuneta Astrodome's energy, Gangnam Style.

Lunch was then served while the University of the East Pep Squad gave a hip hop dance number. After the break, it was time for the Freethrow Shootout. A representative from each team was tasked to show their best shot. Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for was next: Game Schedule Announcement. Committee Heads, Ms. Carla Doquilla, Ms. Lorraine Cheung, Mr. Jay Margarejo and Mr. Mike Tayo, headed the drawing of lots per bracket. The first four games drawn were: 1. Transflow VS. V. Consunji, 2.Ecolab VS. MBC, 3. DCI VS. DCCD and 4. DMCI Homes VS. PSME.
