Dasmarinas City, Cavite, - With fair weather and excitement on the faces of the Committee Members, the players from various companies arrived wave by wave to participate in the Amici Group of Companies' 3rd Sports Invitational's first ever Golf Tournament at the Orchard Golf and Country Club last Tuesday, December 3, 2013.

The Shotgun Tee Off of the 18 Hole net aggregate Stroke Play Competition started at around 8AM which included our clients, principals, sponsors and our very own sales force.

The competition was fierce, yet still friendly as our flashing players swing with all their might and finesse to hit each and every golf ball placed in front of them.

A few of our principals, Vikrant Malhotra, AO Smith Manager for Far East Exports, Evander de Vries and Maarten Hamberg, Wavin's Area Manager and Area Manager of Technology, joined the fun under the heat of the sun, playing their best and smiling their finest. Faces red but with big smiles, Evander and Maarten had to cut the game to catch their flight while Vikrant stayed with us until the end of the whole program.

Playing separately in different holes, our sales leaders, Ryan Mantaring – Design and Build Manager, Jerome Apresa – Nouvac Sales Manager, Gogo Espinosa – WestWind Sales Manager, Mike Tayo – WaveTech Sales Manager, Lisa Pallarca – Transflow Sales Manager, Carla Faballes Doquilla – Thermovar Sales Manager, Michelle Miraflor – Amici Sales Manager, Jay Margarejo – Amici System Sales Supervisor, joined our clients and principals to make the games more exciting, fun and interesting.

And as the games ended past mid day, winners for the men's and women's sections as well as the other special awards arose. Players waited with anticipation for the announcement of the winners while displaying camaraderie towards each other.

Staying with us until the end of anything sure pays off a lot. Our raffle winners sure got themselves some good items. The Ipad Mini was given to Cesar Rubin while the brand new Iphone 5C was given to Rudolf Go of Grabtech Management Inc. Also included in the raffle prizes is a brand new Samsung S4 which was given to Bobby Gabriel of Bobby Gabriel Architects, a Samsung 40'' LED TV which was won by Joseph Kabigting of CE Construction. As the program came to a close, tired but happy and satisfied players cheered that there ought to be another golf event next year. This may only be the first time of the many golf tournaments that the Amici Group of Companies may be sharing with its partners and an event that people in industry would talk about for a long time.
