Applications:

Household Use

It is an effective control solution for insects that can be found in the house such as control roaches, silverfish, ants, fleas and crickets. Apply it around cracks and crevices, under stoves and refrigerators, sinks and drain pipes, around window sills, doors and in likely hiding places.

Lawns & Gardens

Apply twice or thrice a year an 8 to 16 oz of DEsect dust to per 1000 sq. ft. of lawn. It can be either as dry dust or dust mixed with water and sprayed using suitable equipment.
For crops and gardens, apply 2 oz. per quart (60 g per liter) DEsect dust over the entire plant, especially under the leaves. It can also be done either as dry dust or dust mixed with water.
 

Pets & Livestock

DEsect is an effective insecticide against fleas, mites, ticks and lice which are pests used on pets, poultry, and other livestock. Apply the DEsect dust, once a month or as necessary, into the hair and ears of the animal as well as to their bedding and areas where the animal sleeps.
 

Crop Use

Crops and orchards can be protected from insects by applying DEsect dust to the plants through manual or powered dry dusting applicators or solution application. The DEsect dust applied should be in a thin layer of Crop Guard for it to fully cover the plants.

Grain Storage

Organic farmers and commercial crop producers love DEsect as it can be used to control insects in stored grain and animal feed such as such as Rice Weevils, Granary Weevils, Angoumois Grain Moths, Mediterranean Flour Moths, Indian Meal Moths, Red Flour Beetles, and Tribolium, without adding toxic chemicals. DEsect can be applied 1 to 7 pounds per ton and can be mixed throughout the entire grain mass. It can also be used as a top and/or bottom dressing for only 4 pounds per 1000 square feet over the grain bed. It has no taste or smell so it can be used with raw agricultural products including barley, buckwheat, corn, oats, rice, rye, sorghum, wheat, flax, peas, soybeans, peanuts, popcorn, cocoa beans.
