Water Treatment

Rainwater harvesting is the process of collecting and storing rainwater in order to use it for landscape irrigation, wash applications, ornamental pond and fountain filling, cooling tower make-up water or urinal flushing. With GRAF rainwater harvesting systems, the large pieces of dirt will be removed from the collected rainwater and the filtered rainwater will be disinfected.

Waste water treatment or sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants and suspended solids from both grey water and black water. Water used in toilets, dishwashers, sinks, baths and showers of private houses is called grey water. Meanwhile, black water is any water from toilets.

The treated grey and black water will go back into a water course such as a stream or river. Water that is not treated and properly discharged can cause pollution and illness to people. Treated water is not clean enough to drink but it’s safe enough so it will not harm the environment.

A.O. Smith PF-B1 Sediment Filter 1" 15.8GPM

Did you know that sediment degrades the quality of water for drinking, wildlife and the land surrounding streams? However, sediment naturally occurs in all sources of water. These are particles that came from soil erosion or from the decomposition of plants and animals. They will be carried out by the wind, water and ice onto the rivers, lakes and streams that eventually flows to the ocean.
